Bilingual Communications in Manhattan
Manhattan-based nonprofits, foundations, NGOs, and education organizations: bilingual communications consulting from someone whose daily work is in upper Manhattan and whose career has been built across NYC institutions.
Manhattan-specific bilingual work
Washington Heights, Inwood, East Harlem, Lower East Side, and parts of upper Manhattan serve substantial Spanish-speaking populations. The communications work for organizations operating in these neighborhoods needs to be structurally bilingual — built that way at the brief stage, not as a translation step.
What I deliver to Manhattan organizations
- Bilingual family and community communications for upper Manhattan schools, clinics, and family services nonprofits.
- Foundation brand and editorial work for Manhattan-based grantmakers.
- NGO chapter communications for organizations whose national HQ is in Manhattan.
- Spanish-language press relationships with NYC outlets.
Where the work connects
I lead communications at School in the Square, a PreK–12 dual-language network operating in Washington Heights and Inwood. National NGO work at SOS Children's Villages and the American Red Cross was managed from Manhattan offices. The local network is built up over years of NYC nonprofit work.
